Personalized Care for Mental Health & Addiction Recovery

Compassionate, Individualized Care in Vero Beach, VL

Jonathan A. Beatty, M.D

How We Care For Our Patients

Each one of our patients receives personalized care tailored specifically to their needs, allowing them to address their most pressing concerns. We evaluate the biological, psychological, and social (bio/psycho/social) aspects of their concerns and provide restorative and healing treatments.

The biological aspects of addiction often involve altered physiology, and we deploy various medications, including but not limited to buprenorphine and naltrexone. Many programs fail to offer these medications in their more reliable long-acting injectable forms. We believe this is one of the key reasons our program provides better results.

Led by physician Jonathan A. Beatty, M.D., a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA), Wave Treatment Centers in Vero Beach specialize in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), esketamine/ketamine, medical detoxifications, and long-acting injectable maintenance treatments.

Our Purpose

Wave Treatment Centers knows how difficult it can be to live with an untreated or improperly treated mental illness. We also understand the challenges facing those who grapple with a dual diagnosis or a substance use disorder.

Our specialized staff of doctors, certified, and licensed professionals are skilled in providing evidence-based treatments proven to help treat these and other mental health concerns at our facility in Vero Beach.

Our Mission

At Wave Treatment Centers, our mission is to exceed the standard of care in psychiatry by providing compassionate care utilizing the best and most up-to-date scientific research, treatments, and services to achieve the best outcomes. We believe this is the Art of Medicine.

Our Values

Taking care of patients is both an honor and a privilege, and we hold this as Prima Facie (a Latin term meaning that it is a binding principle unless it conflicts with another moral principle). We establish firm boundaries guided by the ethical principles of Autonomy, Beneficence, Nonmaleficence, and Justice.

Autonomy means “deliberated self-rule.” We believe that patients can make their own decisions and that our role is to conduct evaluations and assessments and to educate you about treatment options so that you can make an informed decision about your care plan.

Nonmaleficence and Beneficence are perhaps best characterized by the Latin phrase “primum non nocere” (which means "first, do no harm") while always trying to benefit the patient.

Lastly, the principle of Justice is our moral obligation to act on the basis of fairness and respect. We believe in the fair distribution of scarce resources, respect for people’s rights, and adherence to morally acceptable laws.
